In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter with the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes; cook for 1 minute until fragrant but not browned.

3Sear the Shrimp
Add the shrimp to the pan in a single layer. Season with salt and pepper. Cook for 2 minutes per side until they turn pink and opaque. Remove shrimp to a plate.
-
4Finish the Sauce
Pour the white wine (or broth) into the pan to deglaze. Simmer for 2 minutes. Stir in the remaining butter, lemon juice, and parsley until smooth.
-
5Toss & Serve
Return the shrimp to the pan along with the cooked pasta. Toss to coat, adding reserved pasta water if the sauce needs thinning. Serve with extra lemon wedges.
💡 Chef's Tips
- Don't overcook the shrimp! They are done the moment they curl into a 'C' shape and lose their translucency.
- If you don't want to use wine, chicken broth or extra clam juice works perfectly as a substitute.
- For the best flavor, use fresh garlic rather than the pre-minced jarred version.
